  I just spent a weekend with a group of ladies. We had a great time together. The setting is beautiful. We had a large area to work in. Blue Mountain provides lunch and dinner for their guests. Even though the main house has a complete kitchen, the meals are prepared elsewhere and brought in. I was very disappointed in the meals. One evening we had meatballs in spaghetti sauce. The meatballs were hard and cold. The following day we were served salmon patties. They were also warm, not hot. They also resembled processed fish instead of fresh salmon. The sides were fine but not great. One lunch included soup. At best, it was "refrigerator" soup. Leftover onions, celery, and squash in a red broth. We were required to wash the dishes after each meal.
  
  The main house is spacious. Each bedroom on the main lever has three single beds ( not comfortable). On the main level we had one bathroom connected to one of the rooms. The other 2 rooms shared a hall bathroom. It was spacious and updated. However, it is my opinion that the house had not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. The master bathroom had dirt piled in the corners. I also observed mouse droppings in the sunroom. There were cobwebs in the corners of the entrance area. They have an ancient television but no cable.
  
  The owner is very pleasant. She even provided a guest with a new foam pad for her bed. She also gives the guests the opportunity to have a massage at a reasonable price. Would I recommend this retreat center? Probably. However, I would let the perspective guest know my thoughts about the food and the cleanliness.
